For the second year running we closed all our venues for one night, to allow all of our 500+ team to get together and party.
Our annual team party is becoming legendary within our team. It’s held in a top-secret location and surprisingly – the location stays a mystery! Genuinely no-one knows where they are going, although everyone is trying to guess!
And this year – our team got their ‘rocks off’ at Glasgow’s famous Barrowland venue.
‘Tour buses’ collected teams from their venues, arriving in Glasgow’s east end to be welcomed by the famous Barrowland neon sign – always an indication that someone ‘big’ is in town!
And it was ‘rock-star’ treatment all the way – all that was needed was a wristband, a lanyard pass, and a bit of rock n roll swagger.
Our founder, Steve Graham, briefly took to a stage, which has welcomed everyone from Simple Minds to David Bowie and Oasis, to congratulate the team on a successful year while showcasing a video of highlights.
And the party got into full swing. The famous wooden sprung dancefloor got a good workout while the team danced to music from local band Splash.
And in true rock n roll fashion – the ‘tour’ buses arrived to take people back to their original collection points at the end of the night.
The purpose of this yearly event is to reward our team, while also strengthening the foundations of the Manorview culture – which states that everyone’s contribution is valued and every individual works together as one team.
We left the ‘Barras’ rocking – and our team are already trying to guess the ‘secret location’ for next year!
