We’ve launched a new brand & charity!

On Wednesday May 31st, our 500-strong team got together at iconic Glasgow venue, the Old Fruitmarket, to learn more about our new brand, new mission and new charity – the Manorview Foundation.

At the event, we unveiled our bold new look, which is inspired by our mission to make life better through hospitality. The team found out about the process, why it was important for us to have a new brand to represent us, and what it meant for them.

Host Jennifer Reoch led the all-team meeting, with a panel from around team Manorview answering questions and sharing more information.

After showcasing the brand – and giving the whole team their new badge to proudly wear at work, we spoke in more depth about the meaning of our mission. It’s all about boosting other people – team, customers, and communities, through everyday actions at work. It’s a mission for ALL of Team Manorview to get on board with, no matter what role they have.

Finally, we officially launched our new charity – the Manorview Foundation. A separate registered charity, it was set up to support people living in poverty in Scotland, through hospitality. The Foundation will organise events and activities to help those experiencing hardship, and will have the full support of Manorview Hotels behind it – including use of our properties and volunteers from our team and help with stock and supplies. This is to ensure that the money raised for Manorview Foundation, can go directly into helping those in need. In October, we’ll use our Coatbridge property to open a wellness hub – offering meals, a warm comfortable space, and more, to those who need it – especially during the school holidays. The charity’s main goal is to serve 100,000 meals to those in poverty, by June 1st, 2026. And the team at Manorview, have been set the challenge of fundraising and volunteering for the Foundation, to help make this happen.

We ended our inspiring event with a guest talk from Alison Edgar, MBE. Growing up in Clydebank, Alison experienced poverty first-hand, though didn’t know it at the time. She got a job in hospitality as a young teen – and her amazing career journey to sales coach, published author, and MBE, began from there. She shared her story of hope, and reminded the team that we all have our own strengths and skills – and to focus playing on those.

We closed all hotels for the evening to host the event. And it was truly amazing to have all team members together in the one room. As we shared at the event – we are one team, with one mission. And though we have 11 venues, we are also one Manorview!
