We are an exclusive use wedding and events venue with 11 hotel suites & 1 master, honeymoon suite. We don’t operate as a hotel for the public, but our rooms provide accommodation for wedding and events guests.

Our Bearsden wedding venue is located just north of Glasgow City Centre, in the G61 postcode district.

Our availability is constantly changing. If you have a set date in mind, we would be delighted to check if it's available. You can call our wedding team at any time on 0141 942 4278 and view our pages dedicated to 2024 and 2025 weddings.

When planning your wedding, your venue should be the first thing you book. At Boclair House, you can book your wedding at any time.  For the best selection of dates available, we recommend planning a minimum of 12 months in advance. However, our professional wedding team can book and plan your special day in as little as 7 days.

Yes absolutely. We are fully licensed to perform civil ceremonies here at Boclair House.. You can make payments towards your wedding at any time.

Our venue can accommodate 160-day wedding guests and 200 total evening guests.

Yes, we have a variety of wedding packages to cater to your every need for your wedding day. Should you wish for something not included in our packages, we are always happy to explore different options.

No, but we can help create a children’s area within the venue and have fantastic ideas to help keep the little ones entertained.

Yes, we offer all inclusive wedding packages and bespoke wedding packages, get in touch today to discuss our wedding offers and tours.

We require a 10% / £500 deposit to confirm your date. 9 months prior to your wedding day we will require a further payment 30% / £1500, and final balance 1-month prior. You can make payments towards your wedding at any time.

Yes, we have on-site free parking.

We would love to have your pet here for pictures in our grounds after your ceremony. And although pets are not allowed inside the venue out with these times, we can recommend some luxury options for them to stay the night.

The most perfect wedding venue.
We had our wedding at Boclair House earlier this week and it was better than I could have imagined.

All my guests commented on how our wedding was one of the best ones they’ve been to and it was truly down to Boclair providing such wonderful service.

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous – from the ceremony room (that is also used for the three course meal), to the grounds, to the bandstand, to the outside of the hotel itself. We had exclusive use of the hotel which felt so safe and covid secure and allowed my close family and friends to stay overnight on the night of our wedding. I have to also mention the absolutely gorgeous honeymoon suite – with a rain shower, a staircase and a huge tub! It was the best hotel room we’ve stayed in. All the guests staying in the hotel also commented on how beautiful their hotel rooms were – all unique in their own way.

The food on the wedding day was absolutely delicious. I liked that guests could order on the day (instead of weeks in advance) and the quality of the food was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the Haggis starter and the delicious sticky toffee pudding. I was impressed with the portion sizes and flavour of the food – no blandness at all and everyone was full by the end of it!

I couldn’t have asked for a better venue for my wedding day. Thank you Boclair for making memories that we’ll treasure for all our lives.

A fantastic wedding venue, really made our wedding day a special one.
The Boclair House Hotel is a luxury boutique wedding venue located in Bearsden to the West of Glasgow centre. My wife and I fell in love with the stately architecture and gorgeous decor of the venue, and for it’s close proximity to the local railway stations and hotels.

You’ll get plenty of chances to liaise with the Event Planners, and sort everything for your day. Under the Timeless Package our cake was included (Special Days Cakes in Uddingston), flowers (Marlene’s Flowers in Tollcross, Glasgow), and a DJ for the evening was included. All of these vendors are easy to liaise with, and everything is just sent to the hotel on the day.

We also arranged our own flower arch and flower wall (Instapic Photobooth, Edinburgh) and the staff at the Boclair moved both parts around the venue as per our requests.

Our photographers Kirsty and Ross (Imagine Images, Crawford) had no problems finding all the best locations for our photos, as there are so many gorgeous locations to choose from. Everywhere is spotless, and the grounds are very well maintained.

For our day we chose to be married via the East Dunbartonshire Council Registrar in the ballroom of the Boclair. This was simple and easy, and I would recommend it for anyone wanting something other than a Humanist or Celebrant wedding.

I would highly recommend the Boclair as the venue for anyones wedding, you’ll just wish you could make the day last longer!
