FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

From check-in times & room amenities to what's included at your wedding, this page will give you useful information about staying with us at The Redhurst.

Hotel

For guests visiting our bar and restaurant there is a ramp entrance. Our Grand Ballroom and Clarkston Suite function room are also accessible and are all on ground floor, one level. The bedrooms are accessed via a staircase. We can assist guests; however, we don’t have disabled or accessible rooms available.

Unfortunately, there is not a lift. However, our team are happy to assist you.

Yes, reception is open 24 hours a day, and a night manager will be on shift throughout the nights should our guests need anything.

Our large terrace area where you can enjoy food and drink is dog friendly! Dogs are not permitted inside the hotel unless they are assistance dogs.

Smoking is only permitted outside on the terrace area.

Please note, we are a cashless business so can only accept card payment. 

Yes, there is free parking available. 

Yes free WiFi is available to all guests.

Yes, Williamwood Train Station is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. From here you can easily travel around and can get to Glasgow City Centre for onward journeys from Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street.

You can check-in from 3pm.

You must check-out by 11am.

Yes, at an additional cost of £20 you can check in from 1pm noon.

Yes, with our children’s policy, children under 12 years of age need to vacate our bar, restaurant & terrace by 8pm. If they are attending functions or are residents in the hotel we have a licence to close at 12am/1am/2am.

We have 1 large family room available that sleeps 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children.

Additional beds can only be requested in the Village Suite – our family room, at an additional cost of £20.

Yes, cots are available.

Bookings

For our Bed & Breakfast, DBB, Date Night & Redhurst Experience stays, card details are required at the time of booking, with full payment being charged to the card provided, 2 days prior to arrival when our cancellation policy comes into effect.

For our prepaid Bed & Breakfast stays, payment is taken at the time of booking and is non refundable.

For our Wedding Bed & Breakfast stays, £20.00 per room per night deposit charged at the time of booking, with the balance of the payment being charged to the card provided, 4 weeks prior to the arrival date, when our wedding cancellation policy comes in to effect.

Our Cancellation Policy depends on the type of booking made.

Only bookings booked on our website or direct with the hotel can be amended direct with the hotel. Booking arrival dates can be amended up until the cancellation policy comes into effect.

Bookings made through third party sites must be amended or cancelled via the third party agent.

Food & Beverage

Yes, our restaurant, The Bird & Bell, serves food all day long.

Yes, we have a hotel bar. Food is also available at the bar and on our outdoor terrace.

Yes, our Private Dining Room seats 18 guests.

You can book a wedding with us at anytime, subject to our availability.

Yes, you can view our wedding brochure online, and get in touch to discuss your bespoke requirements.

Our Grand Ballroom can host between 30 and 200+ guests.

You will be introduced to our Weddings & Events Manager, who will show you around the venue with our Interactive Showround. You will also be provided with an estimate cost if required, with discussions to hold a provisional date if confirmed.

Yes we offer payment plans to our couples, however, you will be required to pay a £500 deposit at time of booking to confirm your date.

Please note, we are a cashless business so can only accept card payment.

Yes you can choose your own band for your wedding, we will provide our venue DJ.

Unfortunately, we do not permit the use of confetti.

Meetings & Events

Our Clarkston Suite can host between 30 and 60 guests, and our Grand Ballroom can host between 80 and 200+ guests for meetings.

We offer Boardroom, U-Shape, Conference, Cabaret, & Theatre layouts.
