Funkytown Thursdays at The Function Room, Coatbridge.

On the last Thursday of every month, there’s a disco which is held in The Function Room in Coatbridge. This night is to make everyone feel included. Because the team behind The Function Room believe everyone deserves to have a good night of fun, music and dancing!

This disco is for people with learning disabilities, and it’s very popular with the regulars. The team listen to feedback and to what their customers say, and they know this is a much-needed service.

People from the local areas join in, but visitors also travel from further away.

The Function Room is a safe place for people to get together, socialise, dance, and have a whole lot of fun. There’s also lots of space for more people to join in and the team at The Function Room is ready to welcome more visitors.

This disco also raises money for charity. There is an entry fee of £3. This is a charitable donation. The venue has strong links with their local communities, and all entry fees are donated to their chosen charity LAMH (Lanarkshire Association for Mental Health).

Please note the December disco will be a week earlier – Thursday 20th December. It’s going to be a great night of festive fun and Christmas tunes!

After the New Year – the dates will be back to the last Thursday of every month – with the first date of 2019 being the 31st January.

Dig out your best dancing shoes and get ready to boogie!
